MA Graphic Design

Our MA Graphic Design course tests the products, processes and issues of graphic design in its widest sense, providing you with an opportunity to acquire a new perspective on graphic design and your practice.

This postgraduate Graphic Design degree offers a stimulating and investigative environment with specialist resources and facilities, we encourage you to develop your design philosophy along with an integrated theoretical enquiry in relation to your practice.

Key study topics include:

  • An exploratory stage, which includes visual theory seminars, research seminars, practical projects and workshops that help you to define and develop your research project.
  • Seminars which encourage you to reflect on the context of graphic design.
  • You collate your research and practice towards an interim outcome, which concludes with a project review.
  • You then work towards the realisation of your research project, both practically and theoretically.
