MA Design: Digital Design

1 year full-time or 2 years part-time

Leading to the award of MA Design, the Digital Design specialism is concerned with virtual spaces, interactive environments and games design. These spaces may include combinations of the real and virtual, the spaces of publication, time-based media and the internet. Interaction within spaces can operate at differing scales and levels of material intervention.

Working alongside the other specialisms of MA Design - Architectural & Interior Design, Design Crafts, and Product Design, the course is underpinned by a core taught programme that helps you to develop a wide range of skills and strategies, including research into new technologies, future forecasting and design methodologies.

Key study topics include:

  • Development of a specialist or interdisciplinary personal project
  • Explore methods, techniques, ideas and themes
  • Work with practising professionals to identify future audiences
  • Prepare for the next stage of your career.
