Today, architecture faces the challenge of dramatic ecological change. By examining relationships between environmental contexts and architecture, the needs of its inhabitants and the resources they require. Masters in (MA) Architecture specialising in Sustainable Design at UCA Canterbury enables you to develop methodologies, design tools and approaches that facilitate the identification, development and delivery of solutions to sustainable design.
This urban design degree course is taught through the Canterbury School of Architecture which is based at UCA Canterbury and is a modern, progressive design environment established more than fifty years ago.

- Study current national and global challenges to reduce the environmental impact of the built environment
- Opportunities offered to use of existing and emerging materials and construction forms
