International student support
UCA has a dedicated team of International Student Advisors (ISAs) who support our international students throughout their studies.
There is an ISA based at each campus who can provide advice and guidance on a range of issues which you may experience as an international student, including:
- Visa renewals
- Visas to visit other countries as part of your studies
- Police registration
- Money advice including help setting up a bank account
- Health care
- Disabilities
- English language support
- Future career development
- Part-time working during your studies.
Welcome Programme
The ISAs also organise a Welcome Programme for all new international students to help you settle into university life. This is delivered as part of your induction to UCA and is designed to help you get to know the University campus and the local area. It also provides you with the opportunity to meet other new students on your campus.
Information about the Welcome Programme is published on UCA's website and emailed to new students prior to their departure for the UK.
For more information on support provided for international students by the ISAs, please see the student support pages.
