Sustainable Innovation Conference 2012
The University for the Creative Arts (UCA) is bringing eco-design experts from around the world together for its annual Sustainable Innovation conference.
The international forum, which is organised by UCA's Centre for Sustainable Design (CfSD), will take place at Alanus University in Bonn, Germany on 29-30 October 2012.
More than 2,000 researchers, entrepreneurs and policy-makers from over 50 countries have attended CfSD's annual summits over the past 17 years.
This year's conference, which boasts speakers from multinational companies including IBM, Nokia, Puma and Heineken, will focus on sustainable resources, innovation and lifestyles.
Martin Charter, director of CfSD, said: "This year's conference will bring together an exceptional range of over 50 speakers from leading-edge multinationals, entrepreneurs, academia and policy makers, from all over the world.
"The conference will focus on a series of globally important topics, while panel sessions will highlight key emerging strategies, such as open innovation, sourcing ideas and funding."
CfSD's flagship conference will continue to push the boundaries of product sustainability and sustainable innovation, thinking and practice through new methods including the fast-paced 'Pecha Kucha" presentations which will provide personal visions of delegates and speakers.
Martin Charter added: "We're looking to add value to this year's event and hope to generate real solutions and ideas for our delegates.
