This established and high profile degree course provides a unique and unprecedented opportunity for you to become a creative and distinctive designer/maker across three specialist pathways. This unique combination of specialisms is not offered on any other course in the UK. You are encouraged to experiment, speculate and explore design ideas using a comprehensive range of materials and processes to develop contemporary work to very high professional standards.

You explore a balance between traditional methods of craftsmanship and new technology, which prepares you to progress into industry as a competent and confident designer/maker with a rewarding career in the world of precious metalwork and related design. We have a special relationship with the Goldsmiths' Company and you benefit from their sponsorship and extensive
industrial contacts. Our students and graduates have an excellent reputation within industry and have had outstanding successes in major competition.
