Oliver Froome-Lewis

Course Leader - BA (Hons) Architecture
Oliver was educated initially at Canterbury, completing a BA (Hons) in Architecture before moving to PCL to gain his Diploma in Architecture; he became a registered architect in 1989.

Oliver's design work with partner Nicola Worton was the subject of an exhibition at the Architecture Foundation in 2001. They have won prizes in numerous open competitions including the RIBA living sites competition, Europan 5 in Finland, the Architecture Foundation Circle 33 competition, the Observer 'out there' and BD Hotdesking competitions. This experimental work, which operates between the experiential and strategic, is currently being developed through Touching the City www.touchingthecity.com.

Prior to becoming Course Leader at Canterbury Oliver was a Tripos Studio Master at Cambridge University from 2002 to 2005 and taught in Diploma School at Nottingham University from 2000 to 2005. As a project architect he has led teams generating projects that cumulatively amount to more than £3m in value including galleries, schools and workshops, urban regeneration and product design.
