BA (Hons) Fine Art
3 years full-time, 5 years part-time at UCA Farnham
In addition becoming a practising artist, this course will prepare you to work in:
- galleries
- curated exhibitions
- arts management
- community art practice
- art criticism
- teaching.
Students may also go on to further study at postgraduate level in Fine Art or a related subject.
Industry links are strong through our team of teaching staff which includes practicing artists, historians and theorists whilst our part time staff are current practitioners at national and international level. Commissions and competitions offer students valuable experience in public art, competition and commissions. Links with arts centres offer you hands-on experience in curating and gallery management. Strong industry connections are also forged through a programme of visiting lecturers and artists.
