UCA Canterbury offers courses in Architecture, Fine Art or Graphic Design and also has a vibrant further education department which runs the popular Foundation Diploma, Extended Diploma and Access courses.

The campus is a short walk from Canterbury city centre and provides purpose-built studios, workshops and lecture theatres.

It also has an on-campus halls of residence, the Herbert Read art gallery, specialist library, an art shop, café and newly refurbished bar.

Canterbury is a small city with three universities and oozes student appeal. The city offers an eclectic mix of ancient architecture, busy bookshops and comfy cafés, together with vibrant nightlife, art galleries and great shopping. UCA Canterbury itself is one of the city's cultural venues, hosting important exhibitions and contemporary art and design events throughout the year.

Many of our students like living in Canterbury because it is safe and friendly, steeped in history and has a thriving artistic community. There's always lots going on to entertain and Canterbury's proximity to London means you can benefit from regular visits to London without paying the exorbitant rents.
