This top-up course which leads to a full BA (Hons) degree has a strong vocational content and high levels of engagement with professional practice. Although principally intended as a final year experience to the Foundation Degree in Hand Embroidery the course is also open to students from other colleges and institutions.
On the course you experience a strongly supportive working environment and visiting lecturers and tutors from the professional art, design and textile industries who are involved in your progress through tutorials and portfolio reviews.

- Professional portfolio development - how to present your work to potential employers or clients
- Major project preparation - you develop the thinking for your final project
- Dissertation on a subject relevant to your potential future employment
