Accommodation at UCA Rochester

Student halls - Doust Way, UCA Rochester

There is one hall of residence for UCA Rochester, Doust Way, which is situated by the river and is about 5 minutes' walk from Rochester Station. All rooms are single with ensuite bathrooms.

What's available?

  • Doust Way - There are a total of 214 ensuite study bedrooms mainly arranged in flats of six. There is one flat available for a student wishing to be accommodated with a partner (who must also be a student). Each room has a bed, wardrobe, desk, chair, under-bed storage and a noticeboard. There are a number of adapted rooms available for disabled students.

Priority is given to new students starting a full-time course whose home address is furthest away from the campus. Your safety and welfare are extremely important to us and to ensure this we have out-of-hours cover through our teams of student wardens.

If you are applying to study Broadcast Media at the Maidstone TV studios you may also apply for accommodation in Doust Way. There is also the opportunity to rent private accommodation in Maidstone and the Accommodation Office at UCA Rochester will be able to assist you with this.
